Michael D. Olodude, Chairman

Michael has acquired substantial organizational and leadership skills during his 25 year career serving in various roles in the lending industry. A graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he currently serves as a seasoned underwriter with a prominent US financial institution.
He was one of the founding members of Christ Apostolic Church Tampa Bay and was ordained as an Evangelist by this organization. Michael previously served as a Pastoral Council member at Fishhawk Fellowship Church.
The scriptural principle embodied in Luke 12:48; which states "for unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required" guides his vision for Abundant Commitment, and his desire to engage his talents to serve others as an expression of God's love for His people. His commitment to the goals stated above has spurred him to make several trips to his childhood primary school to bring computer, text and school supply equipment to Ilorin, Nigeria beginning in 2008. In addition to this venture he was also a member of a Fishhawk Fellowship mission team that visited Israel in 2010.
Michael earnestly believes his calling is to be a blessing to children in Nigeria and the US, and continues to put his considerable abilities to use in order to accomplish the goal of lending a helping hand to children to allow them to maximize their potential. Michael has 1 daughter and 2 sons.

Dr. Richard B. Powell, Co-Chairman

An individual who passionately believes that education can open new opportunities for children, Dr. Richard Powell is married with 2 sons. Following undergraduate study at the University of Miami, he attended the University of South Florida College of Medicine and subsequently completed training in Internal Medicine. After several years in clinical practice he obtained a Master's degree in Public Health. He has notable experience in geriatric medicine, health information technology, as well as leadership experience managing the clinical operations of a physician house call organization in the eastern US. Currently Dr. Powell is a Principal Investigator in the field of clinical research.
In conjunction with his church, Dr. Powell has participated in a number of short-term medical mission projects to various parts of the world including Zambia, Cambodia, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, and Nicaragua. A recurring observation on these excursions was the desire, enthusiasm and capacity for learning that children possess. These experiences have served as the inspiration to serve with an organization that provides a platform to help to brighten the future for many children both in the US and abroad and help as many children as possible to realize their full potential.
As representatives of Christ he notes we should lend a helping hand to "the least of these". Investment of resources and goods to improve the life chances of children can make a tangible difference in the life of an individual and improve the communities in which they live in both short and long term horizons. Where better to deploy human and financial capital than in the flowering life of a child?
